Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro-athlete. She coaches and trains in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the first female to take home at the CrossFit Games twice. Her second place finish was at the 2010. CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter, is also an avid CrossFit athlete and celebrity TV personality. The media acclaim she earned came from her becoming the first woman who won twice at the CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012 In 2013, and in 2017 she was the winner of in the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. As a fitness enthusiast since at an early age, Annie participated in various school games and was awarded numerous medals. In 2009, she participated in the CrossFit competitions in California where she was able to perform very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 by 2021. She is 5' 7 tall and her weight is approximately 67 kg. Annie began CrossFit back in California. The first time she competed, she performed very well and was ranked in the top 10 among 70. She did not take home an award and ended the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's coaching she won the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. The following year, she again participated in the CrossFit events and thanks to her dominant performance she won the contest becoming the first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 led to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she won consecutively. In addition, she was awarded a medal of silver in 2014 and the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae and many other brands.
