Felicity Jones is a British actor best famous for her portrayal of Jane Hawking. She played her role in The Theory of Everything, the film that received acclaim from critics. Jones began her acting career at age of 12 and was a part of numerous TV shows, plays, and films. Jones made her debut as an actress by appearing in the television film The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch (a television series) in which she appeared as Ethel Hallow. The sequel The Weirdsisters College was also made. In her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she played the lead role in), Young Ruth, she went on and acted in other movies. Her popularity grew due to her acting in movies such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Her role on the screen in The Theory of Everything was the one that earned her an Oscar nomination. Jones was Stephen Hawking's second wife this biopic, received plenty of praise from the critics and viewers for the way she played her. Inferno with Tom Hanks was next on her list of credits. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles presented Jones with the British Artist of the Year in the year 2016 because of her outstanding talent and contribution to film.
